Simply homemade: Thanks to the recipe and the simple and fail-safe preparation with the step-by-step instructions on the back of the packaging, you can conjure up this favorite cake on every coffee table in no time at all. BASIC INSTRUCTIONS: YOU NEED:
- Springform Pan
- Parchment Paper
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 eggs
PREPARATION:
1. Preheat oven to 320°F and adjust the baking rack to the lower third position.
2. Lightly grease the Springform Pan and line the pan bottom with parchment paper.
FOR THE CAKE:
3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cake mix (Backmischung), eggs, and heavy cream.
4. Beat on low until well combined.
5. Continue beating on high for a minute using a handheld mixer with the beater attachments.
6. Pour batter into the prepared Springform Pan and even out with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
7. Use half of the included decorative sugar to dust the cake batter.
8. Bake for approximately 45-50 minutes or until a center-placed toothpick comes out clean.
9. Immediately remove the Springform Pan from the oven and place it on a cooling rack.
10. When cooled completely, flip the cake onto a serving platter and remove the parchment paper used as a baking liner.
11. Sprinkle with the remaining decorative sugar before serving.
